Tired of small children roaming the hallways? Want to actually see a program item without hearing your preschooler whine, "I'm bored!"? Looking for something for your 8-year-old to do besides draw? Albacon has your solution -- Albakids! Come play with us...
Your young ones can enjoy their own program, designed for ages 3-9. We'll have snacks, projects, age-appropriate movies, and more, all under the guidance of an experienced parent, in their own, safe, space. (Due to toys with small parts, and an inability to change diapers in the room, we suggest your child be at least 3; children much past third grade are likely to be bored.)
Albakids will run Friday evening -- we'll even deliver your kids to the ice cream social -- then all day Saturday (with meal breaks), and most of Sunday. We look forward to playing with your child! For more info on Albakids, email albakids @ albacon . org for more information.
Regrettably, due to state law, we are limited to three hour shifts, so we must be strict about drop-off and pick-up times. We are also limited in terms of the number of children we can accommodate; inclusion in AlbaKids will be on a first-come basis. We will have lots of fun events and crafts, including making stuff with clay, Native American headdresses, bedtime stories, movies, snacks and drinks. We will also take a brief trip outside if weather permits. We look forward to seeing you!
